Default Assembled upper storage ideas

Hi everyone, I'm fairly new here so this my first post outside the introductory forum. I'm curious how you guys store your uppers, particularly target barrels with scopes installed. I have an m&p 15PC and I want to get a 16" bbl'd upper with a red dot and swap the two back and forth. I'm looking for a way to store it safely so the scopes won't get banged around. What have you done?
Steve

I just put them on another lower and leave them complete rifles , Prices will come back down soon and you will be able to buy a complete lower and build it for less than $250 , just be patient

By that time I may not be legally able to buy it(CT resident)!

I do want to get another, just see no reason to pay a jacked up price. Would love to see pics of some hanging up in their cabinets.

The only ars that sit fully assembled is the two we use for home defense. Not enough space in the safe otherwise. The lowers sit on shelves on top of each other under the pistols the uppers sit on shelves above the rifles.

I dont really do anything special beyound gently placing them in their spots. My safe is reallllly packed.

Sounds like an excuse for a new safe and then use that as another excuse for more guns.

My cabinet isn't wide enough to lay on a shelf, my only option is to stand them up.

I dont show the inside to just anyone but heres just a few of the goodies that wont fit in that one anymore and I have had to purchase another safe for them and a few others . Time for a safe upgrade myself would like to go 80 gun safe and get rid of both my 24 gun safes and be done forever, or get in the country and have a 10x16 concrete safe room poured into the basement of a new home . Just need to get both my in town properties sold first
