Ares Arms

I saw on gunbroker that they have some cool colors that they're AR's come in. Anyone know if it's a good product?

Don't know much about them, but you can paint them yourself for a LOT less than it appears they are doing, and a flat coat paint job like they are offering, too.

Can you just buy regular paint in the store and paint an AR without really knowing what you're doing?

There are so many things to watch/read/observe on the issue of painting an AR, it's not even funny. But I wouldn't really recommend paying for an AR that comes painted if that's your driving factor. Better to get a quality AR based on parts and such, rather than one that looks cool and you paid more for.
I don't know Ares quality, but for that price you can get one very nice AR.
