5) After he does all of the above your buddy should walk downrange and be the target.

Man, rereading this thread I never did address your question MJ. I tend to thick of recoil in 2 components: 1) the push back and 2) the muzzle climb. Just like when shooting a glock 23 .40 cal, it has less recoil but more muzle flip than say shooting. Glock 32, which has more push but less muzzle flip. The guns are essentially the same save the barrel and magazine follower.
While the Surefire manages the push the best, I believe the Effin manages (after tuning) muzzle flip the best. __________________ "He who does not fear the sword he wields does not deserve to wield it... -Tite Kubo

Cool, I'll look into Effin. I'm needing something for the VZ58 but at 14x1RH the best thing I've found is the FSC from PWS. __________________ “The bitterness of poor quality Lingers long after The sweetness of low price is forgotten.”

2) buy dinner for our next shoot

4) all of the above.
The least he should do is provide ammo for all the MB videos again >.<

If no one has messed with the camera since then, you may not have lost the video. You know that right? __________________ What part of 'shall not be infringed' confuses people? |

Funny about he timing tho, we sent him out to change all the targets..... __________________ "He who does not fear the sword he wields does not deserve to wield it... -Tite Kubo

Thanks for the insight on the MB's, I finally got the go ahead to get one for mine, so I'll be doing that this week. The only issue I'm running into now is do I hold out for the MB556K to come back in stock (if ever) or do I jump on the Effin-A. I like the ability of being able to tune the Effin and its smaller size, compared to the MB556. If you don't mind me asking, what set up did you run on the Effin as far as ports that were plugged? I just saw a video of a company reviewing the performance and saw their setup and it was a decent difference in comparison to a standard birdcage without a doubt, and they only had 4 ports closed. __________________ USMC Veteran - CWP Holder - NRA Life Member - IAVA Member - WWP Alumni

Lucky man to have several mb/fs available. Each rifle will preform differently. It might just be Stag's, but I have a Stag Mdl-1, 16" with a PRI MSTN. Not terribly loud, it sits rock still with just a little wiggle, but makes lo to moderate flash. That's the other consideration. Muzzle Break yes, but to some Flash Suppression is very desirable. You may also be interested in how much blast is re-directed backwards/down/sides. |

No I have more than 4 ports closed. I'll double check the config tonite and report back.
Here's an interesting tidbit. When I shoot it loosely and not pull it in tight, it pushes ever slightly to the right.
When my buddy shoots it, he says it pushes a little left.
My other buddy says it pushes up .
My analysis. Everyone hold there guns differently. Everyone has different size hands and arms, different strengths too. When you tune the effin a, its personalized to you. __________________ "He who does not fear the sword he wields does not deserve to wield it... -Tite Kubo
