The only thing I heard about these guys was a post last year, but there wasnt to much info about them, has anyone bought any of their kits, or heard about quality, shipping times, thanks AR15 kits and M-16 Parts From Top quality manufacturers of firearm parts.

I haven't ever used them, but I have built several from Model 1 Sales kits and they shoot just as good as my RRA 20" Varminter.

I checked some of their prices and found no real deals.

If you want a good reputable dealer try Rainier Arms.

I've had nothing but good experience with them.

You could get a STAG kit, less receiver, here:

Are Stag kits that much better, this is just gonna be a plinker gun, nothing serious, I just want a good quality gun, without spending a fortune. Del-ton has a kit for $465.00, w/o a lower, so if my thinking is right I could have an AR for a round $600, all said and done. Which seems pretty good to me, sorry if these are dumb questions, I'm a newbie to Ar's.

If you can afford the difference in price, I would say YES. If you are just going to use it for plinking, then the price savings, I would go with the Del-Ton.

I won't knock the Del-Ton kits at all, just saying that for that price, the Stag is a little better piece.

Stags are made by CMT (Continental Machine and Tool), who also make receivers and parts for folks like Stag, RRA, High Standard, Noveske, S&W, MGI, Wilson Tactical, Colt. So they do have a great reputation.
