Colt sp6920 le6920 vs Del-ton sport vs Sig sauer m400. What would be the best AR, for the money, to buy right now and why? I honestly cannot decide on what I want .. Really leaning on the Colt, but would like input. Thanks

all these are in very different rpice classes in MSRP and pre-bubble street prices.
BUT at current prices which are all elevated the price differences might be a much saller %age.
In that case get the nicest one.

Its all a function fo price.
The M400 has a greta rep.
The Colts have a large following
And the DTI is enty level but fully fucntional.

Or oyu could wait 6-10 months until the bubble is gone and you cna buy guns at MSRP again (or even elss)

We spend SO MUCH money on guns to have redudancy "just in case" they get outlawed.
We spend SO MUCH on extra ammo so we will always have a stash "just in case" its outlawed..

If we just spent half of that money on supporting the NRA, we wouldn't have to worry about maintaining a stash "just in case"

My WalMart has been getting in a few AR15s every couple of weeks here lately. I had been check every morning for the past 6 weeks. I walked in as they were unboxing one. I looked on the end of the box and it was labeled LE6920. I told the clerk "SOLD!" Price $1,097.00 plus tax.

This is one like mine here:

I'd go the route of piecing one together. I bought stripped lower, Lower Build Kit and Complete upper. Spent just under $800. Not including the other $700 I spent on accessories. Once my damn LBK gets here from PSA, I'll be ready to finish.

That is $1500 well spent IMO.

M&P15 Stripped Lower
PSA Lower Build Kit
Spikes Tactical LE Mid-length complete upper
Spikes Tactical 9" BAR
Grip Pod Military
Troy Industries Spikes Rear Flip up Sight
Magpul AFG
Magpul MIAD grip
Magpul ACS-L stock
Primary Arms M3 Multi-reticle Red Dot
Primary Arms 6x Magnifier w/ QD mount

Total Cost = $1500-$1600

Get the Colt.

Why?

Because it's a Colt. And 100 years from now...it'll STILL be a Colt....

If you can find one for the right price.....which is rather difficult right now. Plus there are other great companies who rival the quality of Colt. If you want to buy an AR just to say you have a Colt, by all means listen to Prime. But I've fired ARs from at least a dozen Manufacturers, and your not getting much more than a name.

Here is a more thorough video of the LE6920 that you can buy at WalMart if you are lucky enough to walk in at the right time.
