Default AR15 for $500 and under?

Okay so was on gunbroker looking at AR's to buy after I get an SKS and saw a gun shop in my area selling AR's for $500 they are basic like bare bones basic but they come with 30 round mags. All I would have to do is buy sights for it. Just want your thoughts on it and if any of you have seen one cheaper and it works would like to know.

I would look at the S&W M&P sport $600-$700. Any thing $500 and under probably isn't wort hitting a dog in the a$$ with. Probably do better shooting 5.56 rounds with a sling shot.

Polymer lower that means the lower receiver is polymer right? Also isn't polymer plastic? If so I think it is not sure.

You wana give us a hint as to make and model- or do we go get the bamboo splinters for the fingernails?

Be sure that the rifle you are looking at IS a centerfire- there are relatively cheap .22 LRs out there, and NO, you cannot put a centerfire upper on them.

Yes lower in AR talk = lower receiver. Upper= upper receiver. Striped lower = just a plain lower no trigger group, take down pins, buffer tube ext. striped upper = just the upper no BCG, charging handle, gas system, barrel ext. and yes polymer= high impact plastic.

That's what the bid is at. Not how much they wont for it. Expect that price to go up a few $100 when the bid is close to being over. Stag makes good AR's btw.

Bro- you DO understand that you are looking at an AUCTION that still has 2.5 days to run? If you want the "buy it now" it's $900 and change.

In addition to the sale price, be sure to include in your calculations any shipping costs, and the fee for a FFL to receive the rifle, and handle the transfer paperwork.
