I have a heavy duty hard case , I will probably never use it unless I fly some where , its heavy , bulky and a real PITA to be quite honest but I intend on going to AZ in March and going to the desert to shoot some Javies and I have to have it. I preafer my 34" soft bag its got plenty of pockets and crap on the side of it for gear and you can fold it out and use it as a shooting mat if you want to

My cousin who lives in lemont il bought an rra this fall when they had the $800 special. Give rinks a call in lockport they are descent people and have deals on RRAs
