AR trigger
Hi !
I'd like to know how much the trigger moves back before a bullet is fired on an AR . Is it approximately the same thing on other assault rifles ? This is what I mean : http://www.izipik.com/images/200910/...sa-trigger.jpg Thanks |
HMMM......I don't know the answer, but I'm curious as to why this is important enough to ask?
From a common sense standpoint, the dimension you seek (the point of "break" when hammer releases from sear?) will vary a bit from trigger group to trigger group, and maker to maker. Aftermarket, improved, or "worked" triggers add to the variables. And again, why do we care? |
#1 an AR-15 is NOT an assault rifle. The "AR stands for Armalite, the designing company.
#2 Trigger pulls are not measured in inches, they are measured in pounds and ounces. A typical AR-15 will have a trigger weight of 4 - 8 pounds. This kind of question for a first post raises everyones red flags. Sounds like a question from an anti-gun troll or civil attorney. In either case I am closing this thread down. If you want to introduce yourself and participate in the discussions here, you can gain some credibility and ask such questions in the future. |
