AR Tools
 

Okay so i have been gone for a long long time, as i have not had the cash to order the rest of the parts for my AR. Now i have the cash to finish off the lower, and i have an LPK picked out (http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/lower-parts/moe-lower-build-kit.html) however i dont know what the best tools are for completing my lower.

I know that i need:
Castle nut wrench (for stock/buffer tube)
Punches (for all the pins)
Hammer (for hitting the punches)

Just wondering if you have any suggestions on where i can pick up these tools for a cheap price, because like i said, i dont have much money to spend :D

Amazon! Lol. You can prolly find everything pretty cheap their or on eBay. That stuffs not that hard to come by

And probably Lowes

I know you can find all the tools you need at CheaperThanDirt.com, i don't know what quality they are though. I've gotten some stuff from them over the years and the only time i was unhappy with a purchase they took real good care of me.

Harbor Freight for the rubber mallete and punches. Order the AR multi tool at the same time as the LPK.

I've had bad luck with the DPMS multi tool, stripped the pegs for the castle nut wrench portion. @$%$@#% pos.

I have a 2 prong castle nut wrench as well :o

DPMS I didn't know any better ><

Interesting, a friend was just complaining about a DPMS armorers wrench. Strong and heavy but didn't fit right. He sent it back wherever he got it.

Mine's a 3-prong from Bushmaster, actually YHM I think. Well made, works fine.
