Well, It's a Barska. it's been around for awhile. Reviews are mixed and Barska, being an affordable scope, has some material and QC issues like many others in its class.

here's the review page from amazon. http://www.amazon.com/BARSKA-1x30-Electro-Sight-Riflescope/product-reviews/B001JJCHUM/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1

Ok well I read the reviews on the scope I like the look and size but the reviews did not look so good so I'm looking this one now the reviews were a lot better.

What do you want out of the scope? What kind of shooting do you want to do? Barska, UTG, NC Star, and BSA are on what I consider to be the extreme low end of reliable scopes. I'd save money a bit longer and buy a better scope. Nikon, and Redfield make some decent scopes for the money, and you have a better chance of finding one that will work for years. Vortex is another company with a good reputation for modrate prices and good quality, but I have no personal experience with them.

Ok thank you very much. I'm looking for something cheep for right now. I shoot a lot of short range shooting no more than 50 yards at the range I shoot most. It's a range we have been working on in city limits, it's 4 minutes from my house.

You could get a decent red dot sight instead of a magnified optic if you are shooting short range. Bushnell makes a model called the TRS-25 that is pretty good and I got mine for less than $100. It's been running great for almost 2 years now. I've used it on an AR, an AK and a Marlin .30-30.

Awesome thank you. For the other options. I've had this ar for 6 years and just converted it to a flattop. So I'm looking for something just for range fun

I have a TRS-25 in the stable its a great little CQB rds , If you can save up a bit you might take a look at the Lucid HD7 , another fine choice thats about $55 more than the TRS-25 . I like it better than my aimpoint , well other than the battery life , you cant beat a aimpoint on that
