That's the same way it's worn on the military uniforms in combat and I'm sure they got the idea from the army subdued patches on their right shoulders.

Interesting read on that very subject. RMP had the right idea. I just wanted to elaborate. There's a proper way to display the national ensign in every instance. It does your country a great honor to display its ensign properly and when you do, you definitely get a special nod from those of us in uniform.
MJ I do give you respect, but the flag worn on a uniform the union or canton as you refer to is to be closest to the heart. I was color guard for every unit I was in and had to learn the rules of the flag. So the union is to be closest to the heart no matter where it is placed on your uniform. if hanging east to west the union will be on the east side or top left. facing north to south the union will be towards the north side. If you place it on your porch with another flag the american flag will be to the left from the street. There is an SOP for the flag and how it is displayed.

What caliber is your Remington, and how do you like it? You are the first person I've had a chance to ask that actually owns one.

How do you like the Omega rail? I's looking into a free float, and I saw that you do not need to remove the delta ring to use it (I have a bad feeling about myself trying to remove a delta ring and re torque a barrel, I lack sufficient tools and a vice). How was in the installation?
