I don't have a pic yet but I have a question and I'm looking for an ar but I want to buy a Loki upper but I don't know if I want 5.56 or 300blk and I love to shoot but it is also for home defense and I'm looking to spend less then 800 on the whole buy... Any advice and or opinions?

Just finished this last week...BCM/Spike's, I don't have optics yet, it will probably have to wait a few weeks. My buddy is way into the TSSA shooting events at the range out by me. His advise is I can't go wrong with an Eotech. ar-finished.jpg

I've got an EoTech 556. Kinda wish I'd gotten an Aimpoint. That's a damn fine looking rifle you have there, by the way!

Nothing wrong w/ an EoTech. I like mine and depending on the day I sometimes like it more than my H1s.

nothing wrong with an eotech if you have the money. I love mine have not shot with an aimpoint, but looked at some before I decided to stick with the Eotech, not a bad sight I am just preferential to the eotech...maybe it is cause I know who calibrates there quality equipment...lol

Thank you Jeff, I was persuaded to put the thing together myself, instead of just buying one off the shelf, and I can't not be happier with how it turned out.

Olympic Arms .223 AR15 type flat top rifle. I built this rifle using an Olympic Arms flat top receiver, fitted with an Olympic Arms ultra-match 24 inch bull barrel. It is fitted with a free floating round handguard, a JP match trigger and topped with a 4-12 x 50mm mil-dot Tasco scope.. I have used it on groundhogs out to 300 yards using Military green tip M855 ammo
