Wow...nice setup, man.

I have an ACOG on my LWRCI...no RMR, though. I'm looking for a vari-x scope for my AR10...not sure what it needs. It's a carbine length, LC barrel so I'm not really gonna get too far out no matter what.

How far can you get out with the 17?

Thanks Chandler51!

Its officially a battle rifle in .308Win, did not want too much magnification so I thought the 3.5-10 was a good useable range for the SCAR 17S and the longest range near me is only goes out to 300 yards. I need more trigger time with my SCAR 17S but while sighting in on a windy, rainy day I did this @ 100 yards regular Winchester white box 147 grain ammo FMJ:

Evidently I'm in the wrong business . What would u be doing at age 19 to be earning $50 @ hr. And don't consider it spending , consider it as an investment that u won't lose your ass on like the stock market . I have lost more money the last couple years than I have made .

I hear you!
I'm more than twice your age ! I still have the original guns I bought more than 20+ years ago so I slowly have built a collection.

Good for you bro hard work will prevail and make life easier for ya . Like I said dont consider it spending money consider it an investment , I tell my wife the same thing all the time ," When Im gone you will have something worth more than what I paid for them , Its an investment " Long term its much better than the $84592 I have lost in the stock market over the last 5 yrs

^ Yes, agree with the above.
I don't buy guns to sell, they are keepers unless I really don't like 'em. I buy them in cash with the intent to keep. Nothing like the bargaining chip of cold hard cash can usually knock down the price even more that way.

One day when I'm gone my kids will pick through 'em what they like and sell the rest.

I've mostly just kept with the slow and steady CDs - mature and reinvest. Also built a portfolio of diverse long-term blue chip stocks, but any money with stocks I consider disposable and high risk. Never plan to see anything come out of those.
