This is very similar to the Troy handguard used by Ruger on the SR-556E.

Thanks Nathan! I've check him out. Though I have to admit, the older my AR's get the easier those pins are to get out. I used to carry a golf tee around with a string on it. :-)
Here's my contribution for tonight. Sweet and simple. Anyone remember when this was a stripped lower?
"Stitch" is:
* PSA stripped lower
* RRA parts kit with 2-stage NM trigger
* PSA 16" A3 upper, middy, chromed bore/chamber, 1/7 twirls, M4 feed ramps
* MIAD grip with a battery core
* Magpul BAD
* MOE fore-end
* Magpul AFG
* (2) Magpul 3.5" rails under the AFG
* MBUS pop-up rear sight
* F-marked FSB
* EoTech 553.165 HWS
* VTAC sling
You guys might note that almost everything about this rifle is something I either asked about in here, or learned from reading in here, so thank you ALL!
After a few rounds down the pipe and I love it. Smooth, basically no recoil, completely controllable muzzle rise, crisp trigger break, and I sighted in in 15 rounds. Pretty much came from PSA ready to go! I'm pleasantly surprised at the accuracy and controlled fire I can get. At 60yds I emptied a 30rnd pmag as fast as I could squeeze them off and was greeted with a golf-ball sized hole in Mr. Zombie when I got the target back. I'm not even a good shot (yet).
The eoTech arrived tonight, and I've got 310 rounds all mag'd up and ready for more.
Of course, I've got a remington 1100 (Bertha) who insists on some trigger time, as well as a couple of Sig Sauers. I'm going to be pooped.
