Well crap - my first trip to the range with the new AR went in the crapper. Sick kiddo, the missus has a business trip, etc... but I did make it to the store to get a nice case for "Charleen" (I know, a sick joke)... and a Bushnell laser bore sight tool. That looks cool.

I wish I could take the day off to hit the range! I've got 400rnds of remington .223s, 400rnds of .45ACP and 400rnds of 9mm. I need to catch up before I can carry my ammo can't any more!

Looks like a Mag Well Grip. I've seen them on a few other Rifles. Instead of using a Fore Grip, or holding onto the Mag when you're firing, you've got a handy-dandy Grip right where you need it.

It helps keep the clutter down on your Lower Rail, if you're running a Bipod and Laser/Light add-ons.

Nathantc!

Where did you get yours & what was the cost, if you don't mind my asking? Ya got a sharp lookin' rig there!

Cheers!

Here yah go, it also make mag changes easer as well, kinda acts like a funnel for the mag.

M15 MAGWELL GRIP, BLACK

Honestly its the only thing I added just for looks.

The only down side is that u have to remove both take down pins to field strip, it gets in the way if u try to hinge on the front pin, kinda why I got the "EZ pull" take down pins as well.

Also if u didn't notice, there is a mag in the rifle in every photo, I use 5rd magpul pmags with ranger plates in this rifle. I never need more than the first shot though.

Check em out here, its the only place on the net I have found them.
MidwestPX.com

I had to file the follower stop just a lil so that the mag could be inserted with 5rds on a closed bolt, but other than that these are the best for this type of build.

RRA Elite CAR UTE2 w/ Nikon M-223 mount and scope, YHM flip up front sight/gas block, and mid-length rail, plus some other goodies.

Very nice rifle Nathan!
Have you ever used the 5 rnd limiter in a 20 rnd Pmag? I assume you use 5 so its legal to hunt?
