I like your choice of upper/lower Quentin

I swear I didn't see a picture of your stick before I built mine.

Hey, hey, hey! Finally, another "Dan Wesson", dnthmn2004! Great choice and a great looking rifle!

Or Danielle Wesson, we're supposed to give a girl's name to our rifles.

Well I didn't get the BCM LW upper. The guy sold it from under me even though we were in the middle of negotiations. I'm a little irritated over the deal but am talking w/ a guy on M4C about a 16" BCM BHF LW.

Basically all thats changed is the optic, H1 in a ADM mount instead of the Comp2. I also removed the light.

MJ, sorry to hear you didn't get that first BCM but this one sounds great too. And hammer forged. Good luck on this one!

It would be an interesting contrast/comparison with your DD 14.5" LW. I'd be curious whether the 1.5" difference is a big deal or not, especially on a LW. And which brand LW you like best. I bet it'll be pretty much a toss up.

Nice upgrades to your DD! Bet you love the H1.

Just a funny thought on names. This weekend we dropped my Daniel Defense upper on my son-in-law's Charles Daly lower (he still hasn't bought an upper) and started joking that it was a Charlie Daniels AR! Perfect for a good ol' boy like me from Mayberry, NC. That's what I'm holding in my avatar...

Came across this on TOS EE. Stole the lower off of the dedicated .22 until next week when I can get a matching lower. The CompM2 will soon be replaced w/ a H1/T1 as funds allow and a black MBUS from the parts box will rest on top as well.

BCM 14.5" midlength LW upper w/ pinned BC 1.5.

Im very interested in knowing how those mags work. I believe they don't require you have a magwell block and they'll work w/ any AR 5.56 reciever, correct?
