Thats a VLTOR. They're pretty pricey, but solid as a rock. Bushmaster also makes a similar type if you are looking for a top rail that goes over the receiver like that.

Thank you.

Ahead of you Russ. The plan is as soon as the rifle length MOE comes out its going on the .22. However I think the FSB might touch the FH. I havent had a rifle length gas system in a while and cant remember the exact length.
MOE RIFLE LENGTH HAND GUARDS: NOW SHIPPING!

Just got the update from Magpul today!

Also, FWIW, I just picked up a Black Dog drum mag for my .22lr AR and shot it a little bit yesterday. Worked like a charm! Nice not to run out of .22 so fast. And I think it loads easier than the standard profile mags because you can index the drum with your non-loading hand.

My rifle MOE would have been here already but this most recent round of storms has delayed shipment.

I only know what my email tells me . It tells me my rifle MOE should be here tomorrow. Hopefully the mailman decides to come here first. My house is right by the USPS so I'm either first or last dependent on what order he chooses.

Well .22 barrels are recessed making a 16" .22lr barrel slightly shorter than a 5.56 16" barrel. This caused the FSB to butt up against the very end of the barrel just before the threads. With some help from the set of PWS shims I had in the parts box all is good.

I like your NC-22.

Not a Spikes. Its a CMMG dedicated upper.
