Mother's Day surprise for my wife! She told me no flowers. I had something better in mind anyway. A while ago when I built her AR she asked if there was any way I could put some purple on it (her favorite color). One thing led to another and Ohhh boy she sure got more purple than she could have ever imagined. When the wife asks for some purple on her AR you get the woman some damn tactical purple! Lol. Big thanks to Texas Gunner for making it happen! Fantastic job bro!

I am stoked that she liked it! The end results are well worth the effort and the overcoming of the challenges that the purple presented.

That's awesome. She has definitely got an attention getter there. I bet all the other ladies will be jealous!!!

I think I remember seeing pics of some parts of it or something during the process, maybe?

Sent from a phone I can use to do my taxes, but can't make a damn call.

Laiepoi,
That is badass. Finger straight and off the trigger, you got a good woman. I've been debating doing a purple muddy girl combo on a carbine for my lady. This might just motivate me. What was her reaction?

I don't think I put up any teaser photos before I got it back. I could be wrong though. Definitely an attention getter though

Thank you. She's a good listener and learner. She carries daily. Very good with firearms. In fact, the first thing she did when she picked it up was lock the bolt to the rear and safety check the weapon she was really surprised. She was like "ohhhh my goshhh!" Packed with smiles
