They're great. It's my first one. And honestly, I'd go with something else. It'd be nice to have some magnification. Get an EOTech magnifier with it or maybe just an ACOG or something..
The 1x isn't ideal for anything over 100 yards. But if 100 yards is your goal then EOTech is great, but magnification would STILL be useful

I have an eotech with a g33 magnifier and I can't say enough about it. Very sturdy feel in the mount with flip to side. Really gives you the best of both worlds. Would be nice with better eye relief but I'm not going to complain too much.
