The only problem with mine is that I don't have much to feed it. .223/5.56 is nonexistent around here, and I refuse to pay the price gougers.
I wish I had stocked up on ammo while I was building it last year.
Tell me about it man. I've been slowly picking out of my stash a little at a time. It is looking up a little around here. I just put out 1500rds tonight for the morning rush. All was federal .556 $9 a box. Not an awesome price, better than $15 a box tho.
Last time I saw 5.56 was at Walmart. IIRC, it was about $11-$14. It was a single box of Winchester. Someone had mixed it in with a pile of other calibers on the counter, and I just happened to see it. I haven't seen a single box since.
I'm defiantly going to stock up on ammo and reloading components as soon as I can get them for a decent price again.
I run the gun counter at Academy Sports and Outdoors. It's starting to get a lot better for us. We are getting plenty of ammo in stock, but we are getting 40-60 customers waiting at the door every morning.
