She's sexy, how does she cycle? I just finished my 80% foundation 7.5" pistol too. Mine cycles nicely. I hear people always warning you about the possible issues. But If you buy the right stuff, it should work.

Mounted el cheapo Simmons wide angle scope on today. Rail riser and tatical mounts. Makes the hight perfect for me. Sadly, the cheap scope is out of adjustment upwards. Will be fine for now.

The two on the right are mine, the two on the left belong to a couple of my buddies.

Just cycling. You have to play with the buffer weight, an get a good comp that creates a little back pressure. I used the Phase 5 pistol tube kit and a PWS CQB comp, and it cycles great. Now that I built mine I noticed that Phase 5 makes a pistol tube that wraps around the barrel a couple of times. It's designed for 7.5" barrels only. If you have issues try it out. It says it acts like a carbine gas system.

Updated...added the Magpul front hand guard. What a difference. It is very solid now. The factory hand guard had some wobble to it. That's about all this rifle will get. Quentin Defense is a stones throw from my house so I think that will highly influence my next build. (Once things settle down that is)

I test fired today and it shot flawlessly no hiccups at all.. I have the Phase 5 pistol buffer tube with a Spikes buffer.. My upper is all Yankee Hill..fun gun to shoot and the flame it throws out is CRAZY! Lol
