Did your front sight pin go down far enough to actually use it? I'm surprised!

Hi...new to the forum and new to the AR platform. I purchased a Kel Tec SU16a about a year ago but it did not satisfy my thirst for an AR so I recently traded up. I purchased a Del Ton Sport to start out with and we'll see how it goes from here.

Aren't they roughly the same?
  • Semi-auto
  • .223/5.56
  • 18" barrel
KelTec is lighter right?

The Kel Tec wasn't a bad gun. It's super light, It accepted AR mags and was semi auto. The biggest thing is its all plastic design. There were reports on forums of receivers cracking. The biggest concern I had was the longevity of the rifle.

Kel Tec SU16

Not the greatest picture and doesn't have every gadget under the sun but I like it. Feels good, shoots straight! :-) Now I find myself wanting a bigger, longer barrel though lol.

I'm digging that stock. Doesn't fit my needs very well but I've liked it ever since I saw it!

Thanks! I didn't necessarily want another fixed stock at first, but the more I looked into it...the more I wanted that one. I think it's just hot looking! It fits me perfectly and I'm glad I went with it as I didn't need an adjustable one anyway. I'm going to change the bipod to a Harris soon
