The biggest issue with assembling an AR isn't so much getting the parts together right - it's getting the right parts together. You'll remember the quality of a gun long after you forget how much you paid for it.

This one is for the liberal soaked media, government and sheeple...

Here is a picture of an AR. I suppose all you liberals are wondering where the "clip" goes right?

Nice one! How do you like the enhanced buttpad compared to the standard one that comes with magpul stocks?

For me it's really comfortable. I find the hard plastic stocks pretty uncomfortable and even the standard pad was a little lacking. I guess I'm just a wuss.

I do like it though.

Nice, probably be no problem sending that home a piece at a time. Just kidding, no really. Thought you boys were out of there. Be careful, keep your head down. I don't think the place is worth getting F'd Up over.

Thank you. It was a really cheap mount from Amazon.com. It's the one here.

I don't super love it, but it was a fraction of the cost of a LaRue mount. I did find a nice Weaver mount the other day that I really like and may try it. It's designed for the Aimpoint Comp so I think it will work with the Vortex nicely. For now, I'm going to stick with this one and see how it holds up.

I'll keep you posted.

Oh this is my Christmas bonus? Boss went shooting at lunch and left this for me to protect after he got back. Didn't say from who or what, but even more important he didn't say how long.
