here are pics of my M&P 15, and the other I built with an Anderson Stripped lower with Bushmaster upper. Both have a Geissele two-stage trigger and the Spikes Tactical T-2 buffers. Both fire great. I couldn't just have one AR. After building my S&W, I had to build another one.
Not really the first stage basically is all the take up then a stop , the second stage is at the break . These work well for me on a bench rifle however Im not fond of a 2 stage for a battle rifle . Thats me and my opinion someone elses opinion will be different. Its more of a custom feature that fits what the shooter likes best .
I like a nice smooth, clean breaking single stage with no creep or travel
