They .22 correct? Yes. It was a Coyote Brown base w/ various colors applied w/ a sponge. There are some awesome examples of the sponge method. Mine not so much. It was done under the porch light out back at 1am.

Well it was my favorite time of the year again "Christmas", well not quite. Its gun show time and it feels like Christmas. Its like being in Santa's work shop for gun nuts. I had planned on spending top dollar on an optic but I had to put tires on my truck so my budget was reduced by about 1K so my options were greatly greatly reduced. So I was looking for a cheap red-dot that was actually made for a firearm and not an airsoft gun and after walking around the gun show I found a Digital Compact Ultra Sight made by ATN. Seems solid but its no Trijicon or Eotech but it co-witnesses with my iron sights. I have not shot it yet, I have not even shot the rifle. I was waiting to get the optic so I can zero them both at the same time. I would say that I just got this until I save enough for the one I wanted but if it works then I'll stick with it, I like it and it meets my current expectations. Here are few pics of what I'm running with.

Here's an updated pic of my DDM4V3, nothing too fancy, I'm pleased with it. I want to get a different gas block though, when I bought it online I thought it was a full size rail, much rather have a low-pro DD block, until then, no harm no foul I guess, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?

It's got the MBUS Gen 1 sights, an EOTech 517, Magpul B.A.D. lever, DD QD sling swivel(s), Magpul MS3 sling and an Ares Armor Effin-A comp.

Nice new BCM, Patriot! Great pics, too...
