It does not. The case gets hit hard as you can see but the light is positioned far enough forward in the mount and the lens is recessed that it isn't an issue. It also makes it perfect for thumb activation as well as allowing my support hand as far out as possible.

Interesting....I've not seen one that far forward before although admittedly, I'm not around nearly as many shooters as most of you guys, so my knowledge base is limited.

I can relate to the preference for thumb activation, that's how my SD/HD setup is config'd.

I could see it becoming a problem a couple thuosand rounds into it. However, at this point in my life the chances of seeing engagements requiring that kind of loadout are long gone.

I would definitely recommend the Stark Pistol Grip. It feels very well made, and I find it to be pretty comfortable. No complaints about it whatsoever
