Top is CMMG M4LEP2, piston driven 16" M4 profile, Magpul CTR stock, MIAD grip, pmags (of course), EOTech 512.

Bottom is CMMG lower with Bill Springfield LPK inside, Bushmaster Predator upper (20" fluted 1:8 twist), ACE stock, Simmons 6.5-24x50 scope in a Model 1 mount, CAA grip, TMS bipod.

Updated my AR-15 with a nice CQB optic today.

........of course after I took the picture, I was excited to take it to a friends house and it got dropped and run over by a runaway hybrid Toyota.

well, instead of longing for one, buy parts and build one. That's the beauty of these rifles. Easy to build, pretty inexpensive if you do it right, and you can just buy one part at a time until you have a complete AR. You don't even need to get fancy. Just build up a basic AR, then you can go from there.

Heck, I may go for a simple AR build soon. I'm talking REAL simple. No frills, pencil barrel, only what's needed and nothing more.

Okay, I admit appearances haven't changed a whole lot at first glance since last pic of it was posted, but I assure you, it's practically a new rifle. The entire upper half has been swapped out now. The old upper is now awaiting a salvage job to clean it up and return it to serviceablility.
