Default ar lower help

My friends dad has a colt upper in 7.62 and wants a lower. He is looking to spend about 150 what should he get?

If he doesn't mind a polymer lower he could look at one made by Plum Crazy.
Around $100 complete.

Got a new PSA lower and parts kit to complete it for a whopping total of 270 after transfer fee's and shipping.

But not $150.. Sorry but for a metal lower looking at atleast 100$ more than the budget.. Is that everyone's general thoughts? its mine anyway..

If they see no way to delay it to build and come up with the difference, as long as they're aware of the comments about poly lowers, then yeah. If they're just trying to do it as cheap as they can, then I'd disagree. But I'll leave it to the wiser heads and much more knowledgeable AR guru's for the time being.
