My advice, which is based on training I got from a Colt armorors course a few years back, is every time you remove the gas key screws, throw them and the gas key away and start with a new set. If you stake it once, odds are you will never get it back in the same position again, and if it is staked halfway decent, you will eff up the screw heads upon staking. Just one of those things where you are better safe than sorry. Do it right and be done with it, otherwise, you may be fooling with this problem again and again.
