You are correct! It's a heck of a thing to do with a fine set of 1911 grips!!:)

But they work sooo nice! If you like the feel of a 1911 grip, why not? I use them on my "odd ball" ARs, .22lr & 9mm, don't like them on the full length or bigger cal. ARs.

Just don't forget and try to drop the mag with the grip frame release button, cause it ain't there!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Ken
