Default AR Five Seven Upper 12" SBR

Just scored an AR Five Seven 12" upper, used once, with 3 mags for $100. Couldn't pass it up. Looks like fun.

Anyone have any experience with these?

Anything I should know or look out for?

What is it worth?

Never heard of these before. I have and SBR lower to put in on so I'm good in that respect.

$100? I'd be worried it was rigged to explode!

LOL...No man, a trusted friend with an arsenal I would love to own!!! He was going to give it to me because he got rid of his SBR lowers but I don't feel right taking it for free so I offered him $100. I also didn't really know what it was or was worth but I figured for $100 I couldn't go wrong.

After some research it seems that round is more suited for F/A so it may be a waste (meaning no beneift over the 223/5.56 for the cost) to shoot through a semi. IDK

Worst case scenario you can part it out or just resell it for a Nice profit.

Hell the 3 mags cost more than you paid for it . Its a close quarter round, lesser recoil than the 5.56 . I tell you what since its going to be a waste, I will give you $150 for it . How about that deal :P

They eject out the bottom of the mag well on the lower, really neat concept , The ammo is just kind of expensive compared to the equivalents out there. My buddy had one and sold it back in Jan with 6 mags and 3000 rounds and got a ridiculously over inflated price for it . I dont blame him for selling it , I would have done the same
