Default The AR finally works

Been traveling for work the past few weeks so I didn't have time to fiddle with it. As you may have seen in a past thread, I was having the ejection issue. I put in a new gas tube and added a dab of diesel motor oil on the moving parts. Works like a charm.
Now I need another one.

And yes, I know he needs safety glasses. I didn't notice until he got done here that he didn't put them back on

He shot the 1911 for the first time today also.

What kind of ammo you using in the 1911 for those shots?

Hornaday 45 Auto+P 230 Gr XTP. First time using those. They did pretty well I thought.

As for the second AR; I dunno yet. But I was thinking about it on the way home.
