Default ar 15 magazine question?

I have an olympic arms ar in .223. I i was to buy a standard .223 magazine not made by oly would it fit my rifle or does it have to be a certain type?

As long as the Oly is mil-spec or very close to it, you should be able to use any AR-15 magazine that fits 223 5.56. I use Pmags in mine, and have been very pleased with them. IIRC, the only issue you may run into is mags that don't drop free without help, but that was a non-issue with me (and mine work fine anyway).

Military Specification. Basically, it's the same size and similar design to what the military uses. Almost all lowers are mil-spec these days. I wouldn't hesitate to use an aftermarket mag.

Basically a specific standard set for the aar15. As long as the magwell is within tolerance, any mag will work.

Oh ok thanks guys im gonna go ahaid and order two different kinds from cheaper than dirt and see wich brand works better and stick with it. I appritiate the help!
