Ar-15 cartridages.
Is there any Ar-15 rounds that are good or even excellent for North American hogs?

5.56 and up. Hogs, in spite of the Syfy Channel and it's movies, aren't bullet proof and one doesn't need a Barret to take one down. Good shot placement and you have bacon.

LOL...........any 5.56 or .223 will do. Down here, the ol' boy's just use their pocket knives to dispatch the porkers after the dogs corner them.

A good bowie knife is pretty effective, as long as you don't scare easy

You never admit that!! You just tell them you never even got out of your lawn chair, which you made from the bones of the bear you killed with a stick.
