AR15 Forum.

The .50 Beo would work and a few guys use the .458 as well. Personal preference I guess. I want to be able to shoot my firearms a lot therefore a less expensive round is more appealing. .300 BLK (my choice), 5.56, .308 are all goo choices from the reading I've done on hogs.

The 450 Bushmaster is actually more powerful with cheaper, easier to find ammo. You want the true "Thumper" get a 450 Bushmaster.

Amen. When you pop off a round with a fifty at the range, everyone tends to stop and look. Try getting that reaction with a .117.
