Alright, Ive been contemplating recently about doing an AR in .260 Rem. Then with the advice of RUSS, he suggested just buying the DPMS LR-260. But in my research of this rifle, several times in various places I read that the magazines provided hinder the cycling to the longer, high bc bullets; especially the 140 grain Berger VLD bullets. Anybody know of longer magazines than can accept longer bullets, and sit seat properly in the LR-260? Thanx.

A different magazine will be unlikely to help as the magazine well is the l\miting factor. Most detachable magaziine rifles are made to accept ammo in SAAMI standard langths. Loading VLD's to longer lengths will mandate single loading in most rifles.
