Are you referring to the standard FSB Front Sight Housing (A Post as some call to it.)? If so I would suggest doing something else for a front sight. The issue is most people do not have the ability to fixture it correctly for drilling the holes through the Housing, the Barrel and out the other side of the housing so it stays in proper alignment with with the Index pin on the barrel extension. If it does not, I am sure you have seen rifles with the rear sight aperture clear over against one side of the Rear Sight Housing. Some it is impossible to get enough windage adjustment at all. I would suggest one of the Yankee Hill Flip Up front sight gas block units which can be easily adjusted for alignment.
Only my thoughts!
The Constitution is not an instrument for the Government to restrain the people. It is an instrument for the people to restrain the Government!
Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom."
