Default sr556 owner

I bought the sr 556 and love it. Over 1000 rounds and no fouls. Dead accurate on any of the ammo I have fed through it. A great rifle.

As you'll notice once you read this thread the common complaint is balance. From the pics it doesn't appear mobility, maneuverability, and slung weight are of concern to you.

No, I am not fighting a war so mobility is of no concern, just shooting yotes. Where do you see the issues? The bipod???

Not saying it isn't a good looking AR. I think it looks nice.

Default made another change today

Same SR556 as above, just picked up the Nikon M-223. Upgraded the bipod to a lighter unit.

If you don't mind me asking how much did you give for the scope mount? And did you order it online?

Bought it at sportsmans warehouse, it is the Burris P.E.P.R quick detach. It runs $139. A bit more than I wanted to pay but I mounted several different models and this one was the most rigid of all. No play to either side or up / down. I would highly suggest this mount.

That's not that bad of a price. I have seen worse go for a lot higher. Looks pretty sharp.
