Yeah Daniel defense rifles are SICK.... RRA just got the new military contract for their AR production when Colts contract expired a couple years ago.

Try LMT, LWRC, KAC, or BCM.

That's a shame.

So the M4s our guys/gals are now using have RRA roll marks on them? This is interesting, Id like to read up on it. Do you have a link to where you saw this?

Here's a link to a forum discussion on it... RRA doesn't have a full production contract but my sergeant buddy overseas says there's a scattered mixture of Colt and RRA as colt can still produce them for the USM. I can't see RRA having the same ability to pump out as many as Colt could, as I read a Colt M4 Carbine takes around 3.5 hrs to manufacture.

Colt and FN = yes
RRA = no

I only skimmed the ar15 thread, but I did not see where there was fact in RRA having military contract.

I would like to see some pics of a RRA in the hands of a soldier in country. Maybe your buddy can hook us up w/ a couple pictures.

Thanks for all the recommendations and advice. One last question, anybody have a price of the Colt 901? Ive looked and havent been able to find one. And i agree with mj, I'd like to see some of those RRA's down range.

As a few people have mentioned, rocky river makes a great product. I have also heard good thing about the new core 15's coming out. But as I haven't shot one myself I can't vouch for this. Might be worth looking into.
