Another builds started..
Hi guys. After seeing people building and building in this climate, i decided to build another one. I have all the parts i need and some just waiting to arrive on my door step.
I have few lowers on hand like Noveske Gen1 Chainsaw, Rainier Arms and Umbrella.
Have lots of complete uppers on hand too, i have DD V5 with sights, BCM BHF 16" with 12" Centurion Arms rail (will replace the rail with Samson Evo 15") and Some Complete 16" Spikes. A BCM BCG is on transit coming in to me as we speak. Basically the parts i have on hand, the parts i been hoarding lately, some for resell.
My question, which lower should i use? Umbrella is rare and very nice. Which one deserved to be mated with BCM upper?
At the end, this will be another safe queen OR sell it if someone is willing to pay good price.
My other build which called Mixed Breed got sold for $2600 2 weeks ago. Not sure if you all remember my thread about the mixed breed.

I think you should go SBR
I just finished up my last lower and it was NFA stamped lower I had been sitting on for a while . Just waiting on another decent priced BCG and some sort of optics to finish it up .
11.5" barrel , its well balanced , feels good, and in all honesty it just a beater rifle that I thru together with stuff I had laying around , well everything except the BCG of course .
There she is on the left

I already have 2 SBRs.
Changed of plans.. this one big plan. Not 1 build i'm going to do, but 4. Going to use all i have and finish them. Will keep 1 or 2 of the 4, then sell the rest.
Going to use the Umbrella, 2 Rainier Arms and a Noveske lowers. The uppers will be BCM, DD and Spike's. I'm excited already.
Will keep you guys updated in this thread.

I just keep building. At least as long as I can still find stuff for rational prices.
Unfortunately, around here the market for the kind of guns I build ($1000-1500 MLs, old prices) isn't quite so inflated. It seems everyone would rather pay $2000 for a $700 'factory built' Bushmaster/DPMS/S&W with a carry handle.
I've got one consigned at the LGS, sitting next to a bunch of rode-hard $700 ARs others have consigned for $1800-2400. Mine's brand new, comes with two brand new mags and two boxes of ammo, has a DD vertical grip, $200 MI handguard, Magpul flips front and rear, PSA/FN barreled upper, and a cerakoted M16 BCG...all new. I'm asking $1499. It's still sitting there. I watched some guy in there drooling over a beat-up stock DPMS AP4 for $1900, with mine sitting right beside it for $400 less. I guess the cheaper carry-handled ARs just better matches the profile of what some of these folks see on the news and in movies. He was trying to sort out whether he could afford the AP4, LOL.

Agree. Some people, first time buyers who wanted to get one before the ban, don't know much about ARs. They thought a whole complete one brand is better than a custom build. Honestly it happened to me, i got my first a complete DD V3. Then knowing and gained more knowledge about AR, thx to this forum. I became to prefer mixed brands of parts.

That's the only "factory" AR I own. I love my M4v3! All I changed was swapping the vertical foregrip for an AFG and upgrading the CH to a BCM Gunfighter. Great little 6.5lb rifle.
