Ammo

Can anyone help me point me in the right direction on where to find cheap ammo. (New)

Go to slickguns.com and click the ammo section. Users or vendors post the latest deals there.

SGAmmo.com has some very competitive prices.

The ship selling the inexpensive ammo is out to sea until the election is over, hopefully things will settle down afterwards.

Mills Fleet Farm runs a sale on WPA (Wolf) steel case monthly, used to be $3.99, now it is $4.49 / 20 on sale. I pick up several boxes every chance I get for the least cost range time.

It depends a lot in your exact ar and the type of steel ammo. What ar do you have? And I try and stay away from steel altogether but if I shoot it then I make sure it's not the type with the lacquer coating.

Absolutely. I run WPA, a Wolf brand, steel in my ARs. See my post up above this one. The Wolf/WPA packaged in paper is not lacquered.

If you shoot ammo packed in a spam can, it likely is lacquer coated.

try AIM surplus. www.aimsurplus.com

And you can use steel all you want. I even use a lot of lacquered steel without problems.

But it's dirty, so you will need to be conscientious about keeping your weapon clean.

Just remember what you learned in basic training.

"Take care of your weapon and your weapon will take care of you."
