Ammo

What is some good personal protection ammo for the 5.56 my rifle has a 1/7 twist?

personal protection, What ever soft point ammo you can by will do. Your not shooting long distance so the perfect bullet weight is not important.

With a fast twist like the 1:7, you cant go wrong with a heavier bullet. I dont think that a 55g bullet would be a good choice. I have a 1:9 twist and right now im using 77g blackhills HP, they would work even better in your rifle.

I hear good things about Hornaday TAP.

I've used the hornady zombie max ammo, that stuff expands very well and also feeds pretty easily.

Never Forget.

I'm interested in seeing some gel tests or some numbers on this. Could you supply some links?
