Aimpoint.... Should I??

I have a friend who is trying to unload his Aimpoint comp m4 on LaRue mount, and Aimpoint 3X Magnifier on LaRue QD pivot mount for $700. Should I jump on this. Most of my shooting will be plinking targets and some hunting hogs/coyotes/coons. Would this do the job and is it a good/great deal?

I'm not a huge fan of the M4, I'd personally rather have the ML3, but I would still jump on that. That seems like a hell of a deal to me.

I agree $700 for all of that is a good deal I would jump on it too!

I'm just approximating there, but Aimpoint ($700), magnifier ($500-700), LaRue mount (probably about $200), magnifier mount ($200).....all adds up to about $1,600-1,800 in the setup.

Provided the equipment is in good condition, I'd say you're getting a pretty good deal. I might be a little high on the two mounts, but probably not by much.

Well I did jump on it and it all looks great. Everything was in great condition and he had right at $1500 in all four pieces. It could not have came at a better time considering I just finished my first build and didnt have any sights at all.
