Another good deal here:
https://www.adxtactical.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=1281&idcategory=0
ar15armory.com has a group buy going and you can pick one up for $125.00. Same MOA, red and green light. and includes a 2X doubler. I grabbed one and for $125 it's a deal. Check out the ratings and reviews.

Regular price is $395

And if you can wait until Friday, they have a Black Friday Sale, where you could take an additional $20 off that price
Just a heads up...you will need a mount or some high rings.

I picked one up a few weeks ago. nice scope for the money, and it does come with rings but not high mount one's

Not really, but I haven't had a chance to get out and try it out yet. Temps hitting the 20's up here in MN, do I'm waiting for a warm day. Or warmer than that....

I've had a strikefire for about a year now on my carbine nice scope for the money. The dots are a little small and not very bright on the first 4 or 5 settings in daylight. Overall a good scope and they have a lifetime warrenty. Sam at vortex takes care of his coustomers... hope this helps.

To be honest I am going to be getting the Vortex for my self, but I am now thinking of getting the millet for my old man.
His eyes are not very good at all and he has trouble shooting irons with his bifocals. The Millet might be too expensive for me to swing, which do you think would be better for him to shoot with on his mini-14?
I want to get him something so he can have an easier time shooting. Any suggestions?
