aero precision firearms

Went to my local gun shop and came across an AERO PRECISION FIREARMS AR-15. The shop owner said he likes the gun and company, and says he has heard some good things. I've never heard of the company and would like some of your thoughts on the gun, good or bad....

They make good receivers but you'd have to find out what other parts go into the rifle before determining quality.

My upper is a Aero Precision and and is nice Quality.. surplus ammo states they (aero) are the makers of their uppers and lowers.

That's cool, I'm doin more research and am finding a lot of uppers for sale, but not comlpete rifles. And I'm looking at what type of warranty they carry. I'm looking at STAG because of the lifetime warranty and rock river has a limited lifetime non-transferable.

You need to determine what you're going to use the AR for and your budget. Hard for us to give recommendations until then.

Nothing wrong with buying complete uppers and building your lower.

Well my budget is about 1200, I'm gonna be mostly target shooting and id like to be able to stretch the gun out to 200-300 yrds.

I have a mossberg tactical .22 plinking rifle right now and would like to step up to .223/5.56 to reach further out.

Palmetto state armory. Great product. I wouldn't buy a gun just over a "warranty". Buy a good enough gun, and you shouldn't need a warranty. PSA will be my next build to see if she can withstand what my BCM and DD can.
