Default Acog

Bought my acog in 2001 and the tritium is not as bright as it used to be, I just sent it off to get it tested for the warranty. Does anyone know how bad the tritium has to be for it to fall under the warranty?

tritium is in short supply in this country.
Did the warranty include the natural loss of tritium ?

I'll be interested in hearing what Trijicon tells you about your ACOG.

Tritium has a "half-life" of about 12 years, which is about how old your optic is, and I wondered how that translated into its effectiveness in the older optics.

Does Trijicon warranty replacement of the reticle after the point the tritium is no longer viable?

Seems like I've heard 15 years is the life expectancy of the tritium reticle, but what happens then?

Please keep us posted.
