Default ACE Skeleton Buttstock 9.9"??????

Fellow AR-15 builders,

I have been looking over different buttstocks for an AR-15 build. I have noticed that Midway USA has this ACE Skeleton Buttstock 9.9" for $64.99. I do like the look of this buttstock, and am thinking of putting it with a 20" barrel upper, but I have a few questions.

First does anyone have any experience with this buttstock on their AR?

What are your Opinions?

Ease of instilation?

What else would I need to buy in order to attach it to my Lower receiver?

I am guessing I need the Extention tube, buffer tube and spring as well as a lock ring. DO I NEED AN END PLATE?

Thanks for any help.

Yes, I have the ARFX-E (entry or short) stock with the 1" butt pad. I love it and have it on my 16" pig gun. I think you would be better off with the ARFX stock for your 20".

Get it. You will love it, unless you need an adjustable cheek weld.

Easy-peasy. Just remove your A1 stock and slip this baby on. Be sure to soap up the extension tube. The foam cheek is hard to slide on without it.

Needs to have an A2 extension tube installed. End plate is on the stock.

Here's where you need to go, give them a call and they will make sure you have everything needed.

Del-Ton, Inc. AR-15 ACE AR-15 ARFX Skeleton Buttstock Assembly

This is what you need.

I like the look of that! Cane- can you post a pic of the entire AR to judge how it looks?

The purchase has been made from Del-Ton. Can't wait to get it and finish putting together the stripped lower I bought a while back. Just have the takedown pin and the buffer pin to install. I put the rest of the lower together in about 1 hr. by following the directions off of YouTube and AR15.com. (First time so I went slow). Almost lost the front pivot pin spring and the detent, miracle that I found them after they shot straight up to the ceiling.

Thanks again for the help.

I'm a BIG fan. I didn't install the buttpads that came with mine. I like being up close and personal with my ARs
