50 bmg

Is there a m700 platform 50bmg rifle ?

Not possible- the total length of bolt movement is less than the length of a 50 BMG cartridge. FWIW, there are rimfires, short action (.308 and shorter) long action (30-06 and up) and 50 BMG class cartridges.

Then you have issues with diameter of cartridge being bigger than the width of the receiver, etc.

Would i have to get the whole gun built from scratch to have a rifle like that, like on american guns?

yep. If that is what floats your boat, buy one made for that purpose.

Most all of the current bolt action .50 BMG rifles are specialized, purpose built actions designed strictly for the .50 BMG cartridge because of it's size. Bushmaster, Armalite, and McMillan all produce their own bolt actions for these weapons, and build their rifles around it.

A lot of manufacturers have gotten away from "shell holder actions", that required removal of the bolt for every shot to remove the spent case, and load a fresh round for obvious reasons. It was awkward, clumsy, and slow to reload these weapons. They were cheaper to design and produce because they didn't require an extractor and ejector system to be designed into the bolt.

If your set on a nice bolt gun the McMillan TAC-50 is about as good as it gets. While not cheap, it is cheaper than having a full blown custom .50 BMG rifle built.

The "Big Dog" in the .50 BMG kennel is Barrett firearms. Take a look at them before you buy anything else. The Barrett M107 semi-auto is the bee's knees:p
