.50 AE vs .50 beowulf

I have seen listings for AR uppers in both .50AE and .50 Beowulf. I want to know the differences, advantages, and disadvantages of each. Before attempting a build thanks

These are the .50 Beowulf, .500 S&W magnum, and .50 action express. The .50 AE is a much smaller pistol round compared to the Beowulf.

If you intend to hunt with it, consider the Beowulf .50, .458 Socom, or .450 Bushmaster.

The Beowulf uses a severly rebated rim. Rim is 7.62 X 39 diameter. The AE is rebated and uses a .44 Mag diameter rim.

the 458 socom is slightly rebate. just enough that the rim will fit inside a fired socoms case mouth. makes reloading it with a progressive case feeder a bit difficult
