Thats decent stuff as long as your range allows penetrator type ammo.
I usually get xm193 from here

yes the m855 is steel core, it is not "armor piercing" some ranges do not allow use of it but if your outdoors with a backdrop that isnt going to be destroyed its great ammo about the same price as xm193 but without the "x" (factory seconds rejected for military use) good luck with the ammo search and keep 'em blasting.

My outdoor range doesnt even allow it.
I've found the xm193 is as good as any of the ammo I was ever issued. |

If I'm going to go plinking, I'd buy 55gr FMJ XM193. However, when I stock ammo just to have it, I like to think of my future needs, should the SHTF.
This is my ammo of choice for that purpose:
BVAC PSP 64gr
I think pointed soft point would do double duty for hunting and neighborhood defense. I also keep green tip penetrators. That Federal deal of 420 rounds on stripper clips in a can is really hard to beat! __________________ .45 acp, 9mm, .38 spl +p, .380 acp, .22 long rifle
